Excellent thriller

5/24/26 - 5/27/26 Dear Debbie by Freida Mc Fadden Excellently written mystery thriller! I didn’t want to put it down waiting to see what the next “advice” would be and what Debbie would be diabolically planning for her next intended victims. Dare I say… every mid-life crisis woman’s dreams plays out in this novel? Does one traumatic event from our life really years later set off a chain reaction of such magnitude? Maybe? But I would think or hope not or we would have hundreds maybe even thousands or more? Homicidal women on the planet? Nah I don’t think so… I just think it was the more recent built up events that triggered the past to haunt and factor into it. But I never saw the twist in Harley’s boyfriend not being who Harley thought he was! That was a shocker and that who he really turned out to be for Debbie! Holy Moly I didn’t see that coming either! But if I had been Debbie as much as I hate loud noises I wouldn’t have missed! Excellent book!

Easy Quick Read

This was the perfect two evening read! It’s fun, fast-paced, and full of the clever twists that have become this author’s signature. It’s exactly the kind of book that makes you look forward to sitting down at the end of the day just to see what happens next.

"Dear Debbie" is fun and a quick read—as Nikos said think “fast fashion but for thrillers". It is light on depth. The setup intrigues, yet it feels like there are too many pieces to this puzzle. The second half is a bit of a letdown in terms of thrills.
