I was born into the Great Depression, survived Nazism, World War II and my escape from mindless and murderous communist Hungary across the partially dismantled Iron Curtain. Near the end of the War in 1945, I emerged from the deep bunker under the old fort of Buda and saw Budapest bombed to rubble. My eight-year old self asked: Why would grownups destroy a beautiful city and kill innocent people? I devoted much of my life searching to answer that question and deposited my thoughts in four books progressing toward answers. In this, my fifth book, I arrived and assembled the pieces offering an action guide for building a peaceful and sustainable future. The great hurdle in front of us is best defined by Albert Einstein (paraphrased): A problem cannot be solved by the same mindset that created it. Our reality is that politicians and institutions are prisoners of the old mindset. Building a peaceful and sustainable world is beyond their skillsets. This book is devoted to helping you develop a new mindset that will allow you to be part of a movement toward Nature-compliant Transformative Societal Reconstruction, one individual and one community at a time. When pursued with diligence this living generation will lay the foundation on which the next generation will build a new society guided by nature's building and sustainability code. This will open the possibility for Transformative Societal Reconstruction to arrive at a future of universal quality of life, global peace and systemic sustainability - so that humanity will survive and thrive on this magical and only habitable planet in the known universe.
