Dean Martin, born Dino Paul Crocetti on June 7th, 1917, Steubenville, Ohio, U.S. was a singer, recording artist, actor, comedian and film producer. One of the most popular and enduring American entertainers of the mid-20th century, Martin was nicknamed the "King of Cool" for his effortless charisma and self-assurance. With Jerry Lewis he formed the hugely popular comedy duo Martin and Lewis, with Martin playing the straight man to Lewis' slapstick hijinks. Dino then starred on concert stages, in nightclubs, recordings, movies and TV, being a member of the "Rat Pack", along with Frank Sinatra, Joey Bishop, Peter Lawford and Sammy Davis Jnr.. Martin hosted the TV variety programs The Dean Martin Show and The Dean Martin Celebrity Roasts. Dino's relaxed, warbling, crooning voice gave him dozens of hit singles, including his signature songs "Memories Are Made of This", "That's Amore", "Everybody Loves Somebody", "You're Nobody Till Somebody Loves You", "Sway", "Volare", and "Ain't That a Kick in the Head?"
