Interesting premise!

The power of resurrection is contagious and not all it’s cracked up to be. You might come back to consciousness, but did you really return to “life”? I try to cleanse my Stephen King clogged palette with other horror, this was a pretty good one!

Snake Dancers and Zombies

Very character-driven story with some heart-breaking parts, some uplifting, and plenty of horror and suspense. No flesh-eating monsters here (for a change), but the creatures are definitely as terrifying as any George Romero biting-types. A must-have for any zombie book collection.

A real gut-punching tale with emotional impact

This book is quite a find, peopled with characters one can care for, and laced with horrific events which keep the pages turning. I recommend this highly!

Excellent!

This novel was excellent! The moods and imagery were actually chilling! I give it an eight because the idea of zombies is a trite one, but this novel is still good.

Suspensful and Twisted... PERFECT STORY!

The meaning of the name "Jason" is "HEALER" In this story, Jason, finds that he can heal the dead and bring them back to life with his "healing" power. The people may be "alive" but they are still dead! This story is filled with the terror that these zombies bring to the world. Definately twisted... and any twisted individual would LOVE it!

Zombies brought to life by a talented author.

It's easy to see why this novel was nominated for a Bram Stoker Award from the Horror Writers of America. DEADRUSH is both the name of the novel and the description of the drug-like rush received each time one of the novel's zombies bring someone else back to life. As the undead spread exponentially, sometimes killing people just so they can bring them back to life to experience the deadrush, the novel's protagonists fight to find out just what the hell is going on. The novel's climax is deftly plotted and dowright chilling
