Charles Manson was an American criminal and cult leader. In mid-1967, he formed what became known as the "Manson Family", a quasi-commune based in California. His followers committed a series of murders in July and August 1969. This is a fictionalized account of his childhood, criminal career, and the events that led Manson and his friends to commit the notorious Tate-Labianca murders. This novel was written by the author when he was seventeen in 1989. Some events and characters have been created for dramatic purposes.
