Very Suspenseful

Deadly Deceptions by Betsy Haynes was an excellent book. It was hard to put down. The main character is Ashlyn Brennan, a seventeen year old senior,who is really close to her school counselor. Everything was going well in Ashlyn's life when suddenlly her school counselor was found dead in her office and the last person schedule to see her was Ashlyn's boyfriend Drew.All the fingers are pointing at Drew. He is the prime suspect in the crime. Ashlyn doesn't believe that Drew would do something like that. So she starts a investigation of her own. She finds a deadly family secret. I thought that Deadly Deceptions was a very good book. It has romance, drama, and mystery. It is very well writtnen and it captures the attention of young readers.

Deathly Deception

The book Deathy Deception is strongly recomened as a must read. If you are looking for a mystery that has strange twist this book is for you. Also If you like to be able to relate to the characters then this is it. Besty Haynes does a great job of making them come to life. The book is about a girl named Ashlyn who is trying to figure out who killed her guidance counsler. The police have one guy who they think did it but the guy is her boyfriend! Ashlyn knows that he didn't do it so, when she starts to look for clues to prove that he didn't do it she finds out a awful family secert.

Deadly Deception

Betsy Haynes does an excellent job in capturing the everyday life and emotion of a teenage girl in her captivating story but then does even more for her credit by adding a interesting twist of mystery to the plot. The main character finds herself in the middle of her own mystery. Deadly Deception is a great read. I recommend it for advanced 5th graders to 10th graders for a fun and exciting mystery thriller.

It was great

I thought this was one of the best mystery books I have ever read. It was absolutely wonderful. The end is unlike I would have ever thought. It is a captivating story that you just can't put down.

Really Good

This book captured my imagination and I loved the details and the complexabliliy this book had. Betsy Haynes did a wonderful job writing this book.
