Fourteen-year-old Ashley desperately wants to have a relationship with her biological father, Peter, despite his abandoning her before she was born. While visiting her father one weekend, Ashley's brother, Dick, decides to rip off a well-known drug dealer in the community, placing her life in danger. The dealer retaliates against Dick with a drive-by shooting. The police put Dick's entire family in protective custody, but someone on the force leaks the location of their whereabouts. Will they escape the danger?
