The dumpling that killed me was absolutely perfect.
That's the first line of the review I'll never post. I was dead for ninety seconds - long enough to come back with a ghost. Vincent Tang. Celebrity chef. Murder victim. Currently floating through my kitchen counter, disputing the three stars I gave his dumplings, and demanding I find out who poisoned him.
I'm a food blogger. I rate dumplings. I argue about pineapple on pizza. I am not equipped for a suspect list with a bitter ex-wife, a shady health inspector, a food critic with a grudge, and a produce vendor who won't talk.
And I haven't tasted food - actually tasted it - since the night I died.
So yes. I'm doing this. With my best friend, a detective who doesn't believe in ghosts yet, and a cat named The Void who sees what I see.
The killer is starting to notice.
