Dead Letters of Laurel Cove

By Elizabeth Collums

At nine years old, Gilda Marie Stevens experienced a cruel and unexpected event that landed her family on the wrong side of the tracks. A place in her mind where only she suffered and only her dreams were shattered.

Fate turned against her again at seventeen when they were forced to move to Laurel Cove, a small, nondescript town she'd visited, and was always ready to leave. Little did she know that breaking a law in Laurel Cove would define her future and help her tap into her dreams of becoming a detective.

Because there she slowly began to learn about her history, her heroes, and what true suffering is really is all about.
