This book is great for people who dont even like to read

I bought this book for my husband. He needed it for one of his classes and he hates to read, but can not seem to keep his nose outa of this book. Dead end is easy reading. I read it all in one day. It keeps you in suspense, and its fast pase so your not getting board with it. I hope you chose to read this book, I think you might like it!

Dead End by James Pecora

The book is very good for a first time writer. His chapter on the murder of the family is very chilling. There was such overkill of the family, and it's sad to think that someone was so disturbed that they had to kill the whole family and keep killing them. I kept wanting the police to do more and ask more questions, like what did this man do when he went on long business trips and where was he? True crime is not always brought to a neat, tied up with a bow, conclusion.

Accurate and insightfull

Essentially the author has written a non-fiction book and changed places' names and the last names of those involved in order to protect their identities. From the news articles that I've read over the years, this book seems pretty accurate. Unfortunately it is not likely we'll ever know the truth on who killed the Richard Robison family in Goodhart Michigan during the summer of 1968.

"Dead End" a really good read.

This book is about a crime that I have followed for years and have some recent personal contact with. At the end it comes to the same conclusions the locals have thought for years. It is well done and a good read just as a mystery story. Mr. Pecora has done careful research and has patterned it closely after police reports.
