But someone in the upper echelons of power sold a list of undercover agents to an information broker. The organization Liana had infiltrated on her first mission back to the NSA presumably saw her name on the list.
And now she's probably dead.

Carver goes to Washington DC, his least favorite place in the country because it's filled with some of the worst vermin in the world-politicians. He's going to find out who sold the list, who bought the list, and he's going to kill anyone who had anything to do with Liana's fate.
