Dead Animals consists of photographs taken in various cities around the world where the artists have stumbled upon lost or discarded stuffed animals. The animals usually look dirty and abused from being left to the elements. Sometimes, they look as if they are dead. The draw of these animals lies in how they seem to convey an emotional story. When encountering a dead stuffed animal, it is difficult not to ask, ?Who does this animal belong to? And why has it been abandoned? One assumes that the cast-off was once loved and held by someone. Which leads to the next question: Where is that person now?
