"De Sacramentis" est monumentale opus theologiae moralis a celeberrimo Hieronymo Noldin, Societatis Iesu sodali, conscriptum. Hic liber systematicam et profundam investigationem septem sacramentorum Ecclesiae Catholicae praebet, eorum naturam, essentiam, administrationem, et effectus spirituales secundum magisterium et traditionem scholasticam lucide explicans. Auctor in hoc volumine non solum fundamenta dogmatica texit, sed etiam subtiles casus conscientiae et normas iuris canonici ad praxim pastoralem spectantes diligenter expendit.

Hoc opus, quod pars est maioris operis "Summa theologiae moralis", per multos annos fundamentum exstitit in instructione clericorum et theologorum per orbem terrarum. Ob claritatem expositionis et soliditatem doctrinae, "De Sacramentis" manet fons praeclarus pro eis qui theologiam sacramentalem classicam, historiam dogmatum, et evolutionem disciplinae ecclesiasticae saeculo vicesimo ineunte investigare cupiunt. Lectores hic invenient accuratam analysim de baptismo, confirmatione, eucharistia, paenitentia, extrema unctione, ordine, et matrimonio, omnia ad mentem Ecclesiae fideliter relata.
