Ddr: A missed opportunity to consolidate peace in Côte d'Ivoire

Beyond the signing of the fourth supplementary agreement to the Ouagadougou Political Agreement, the Government has failed to meet the challenge of completing the implementation of DDR in C te d'Ivoire. The lack of political commitment of stakeholders and other factors such as age, level of education, nationality of ex-combatants, cultural issues, and lack of coordination of donor support are all reasons for this poor performance.
