Enjoy every farm day

Floss, Friends, The Shepherd Boy, One Summer Day, and Emma's Lamb -- together in a single volume. For those who remember farm life and want to share with young ones, for those who aspire to it, and for children who (almost from the beginning) can learn to help. One caveat is that without page numbers it is a bit of a nuisance to find the start of each individual story.

Beautiful Illustrations, Lovely Stories

We bought this book because of the lovely storylines and the gorgeous, detailed illustrations. We, too, live on a farm, though our SE Texas farm is a far cry from the hills of England that make up the scenes of the book. It's a pleasure to read aloud to a young child, but interesting enough for a child to read himself. I highly recommend this book.
