Very compelling read. Makes you think about our current political system and what can happen when complex plans go aray.

I'm not usually one for science fiction or metaphysical books, but I enjoyed this one from beginning to end. It is all in the realm of possibility...so maybe it's not really science fiction. The characters are real and the story is compelling as to what may be possible. There is political intrigue, science, religious awakening (while not being pious about it) and real human connections. Give it a try

I met Anita Wylie on a recent retreat and bought a copy of her book. On the way home, I took the Amtrak train from New York to North Carolina, and I began reading this suprising and marvelous work of fiction. This kind of fiction is the kind that makes you want to believe that it could actually happen, because, in essence, Wylie has given us her vision of how world peace could come to be. While this is science fiction fantasy, Wylie stays closely wedded to the reality of American and world politics, state of the art science, and characters that leap from each page with depth and believability. The plot is engrossing, even if it is improbable. Wylie's knowledge of her subject and her ability to make music with words helped me suspend disbelief long enough to be captured by the idea of it all. What a delightful experience to read this novel -- it ought to be picked up now by a major publisher!
