Daughters of Wisdom: Why purpose and wealth must come first before courtship

There is a proverb that says, "Wise man seek wealth; the brave courtship." This applies to every human being.

Many young girls today are tempted to pursue relationships with older or married men in the hope of gaining quick financial comfort. At first it may seem like an easy path-gifts, money, and temporary security. But shortcuts often come with hidden costs: loss of dignity, broken families, emotional pain, and dependence.

True wealth is not something that is handed to you through someone else's pocket. True wealth is built. It is built through education, skills, discipline, and hard work. When a young woman pursues knowledge, develops her talents, and builds her own income, she gains something far greater than money-she gains independence.

A woman who builds her own wealth walks differently. She chooses relationships out of love and respect, not out of financial need. She is not controlled by gifts or promises, because her stability comes from her own effort.

Young women must therefore understand this principle: do not exchange your future for temporary comfort. The same energy used to chase wealthy men can be invested in education, business, innovation, and leadership.

Courtship should come from mutual respect, not financial desperation. Wealth that you build with your own hands will protect your dignity, empower your choices, and bless the generations after you.

So to every young girl: seek wisdom first. Build yourself. Build your future. Build your wealth. When you do that, relationships will come as a choice-not as a necessity.
