"Is there a day for daughters like the one for mothers?" Phyllis Mae asks. There is! Her grandmother says that Daughter's Day is right around the corner. Phyllis Mae can't wait! Nana will make banana... This description may be from another edition of this product.
I thought Ms. Pegram, caught an innocence that is not often found in children today. After seeing so much disfunction, Phyllis, brings a refreshing constructive energy, recapturing the child we all long to see. I also appreciated how the young characters were able to display wholesome sibling love, yet stress the need for parents to love each child as an individual. The pictorials are excellent. I especially enjoyed how Phyllis and JT's face was brought to life. What a great story for any age group. Every family will enjoy this book, and everyone could use there own special day, just like Phyllis in Daughter's Day Blues.
