I'd give this more than 2 thumbs up, but that would just be weird.

This was engaging throughout ... in a really disturbing way. (The fact that I wasn't dissecting grammar and vocabulary speaks volumes.) The ending: staggering. This was my second Shemilt book; I may have to bump someone off of my favorite top 10 authors list.
