Gudrun Thorkildatter is an outcast Norse hunter who longs to be with her father and brother back home. That, or sail to Albion herself and join them adventuring and seeking fortune on distant shores. And, the secrets these ships hold unleash a terror obsessed with finding her village, forcing Gudrun to fight for her life and the lives of the family who had forsaken her.
