Great Original Book

This rates as one of my favorites. As with all fiction books, you must suspend your desire for school lessons and simply enjoy the ride, not knowing what will happen in the end. In Datoga Island, Henry and Lou take a wrong turn and aggravate a native tribe trying to protect their long-secret treasure. The adventures in the rain forest and travel in the underground caves were fantastic fun. I enjoyed Dave's slick style, and the supporting roles of Kepi and Sebastian in this book. If you truly want to have a few days of enjoyable, entertaining reading, you won't go wrong with Datoga Island.

VERY GOOD BOOK!!!!!!!

I thoroughly enjoyed reading the thriller/drama Datoga Island. Kudos to the author who has pulled off an exemplary project. It's got something for everyone. The description of the scenery allows you to taste and smell the rain forest as you are taken on a wild ride of drama, romance, and adventure through the ominous jungle. As a female reader, I wasn't sure I'd be up for an action adventure story. But this tale is different. Its unique in the fact that it tugs at the basic human elements of morality, desperation, and good old fashioned curiosity. And the ending is simply unbelievable. The build up to the ending is magnificent and then the reader is simply blown away by the ending itself! I can't get over how original the ending was. You won't be disappointed! One of the most original plots to come our way in a very long time. I would love to see this made into a movie! Thumbs up recommendation!!! Excellent read!!!!! Loved it!!!!!

TERRIFIC READ FOR ALL AGES

Very original plot. This is a case where the story is bigger than the characters. And that's a good thing. The story advances at a rapid pace and draws the reader into a new world. A great escape from the everyday. Don't be scared away by the adventurous mystique. Human elements such as morality and romance also come through, making it appeasing for male and female readers alike. Most definitely recommend it to anyone.

WORTH THE PRICE OF ADMISSION

A remote tropical island is the scene for this thrilling story about an off-road rally race gone terribly wrong. Everything is cool until two of the racers, Henry and Lou, disappear without a trace. There were rumors of a dangerous native tribe that just may be true. The search party can't find a thing. What happens? You'll have to find out for yourself.For me this was an entertaining page turner. Lots of action, lots of plot twists, characters do the job. Fast paced so it doesn't take long for the story to get rolling. Written in a style that's easy to read for anyone. Definite recommendation.

A GREAT PAGE TURNER! VERY ORIGINAL!

Loved it! Awesome suspense. Fast paced, filled with great plot twists, I couldn't put it down! Easy to read, written for readers of all ages. OK for kids and adults! Main theme is adventure but contains moral drama and a touch of clean romance too. Best of all I found it to be very original, couldn't believe how it all turned out. Excellent bedroom material, but be warned, you'll want to finish it all at once! I definitely recommend it!
