beyond the Tao of Steve

I've done a lot of online dating, read a lot of dating books, so I've come to the conclusion that there isn't much new out there in terms of ideas. I mean, up to now my guide had been the Tao of Steve, but I could never pull that off. You know, live out the whole "movie" success thing. As for books, they pretty much say the same thing. What I like about this book is that it's a lot more practical and realistic, and has specific suggestions of HOW to do all this stuff that'll supposedly get me women. I've just done a few of the things so far, including asking a couple exes to introduce me to women and while I haven't actually gotten dates yet (it's just been a week), I definitely talked to more women than I would on my own. I also did some changes to my personal ad based on the book's suggestions and have gotten a couple new responses from women I'm corresponding with now. So I do recommend this book, it's a different approach than most of the other stuff out there.

Dating tips for guys written by women.

This book has a lot going for it.Great advice on dating tips and techniques and written by women too.I enjoyed this book and loved the advice. This book is like a woman with a credit card,I couldnt put it down until I finished with it.A better book than I had anticipated. These women explain the tips in simple terms without being boring.A great book and great value.I also recommend these books:1)"U.S.S." By Leil Lowndes.(means:undercover sex signals)2)"Date out of your league:for men only".By April Masini.3)"How to pick up beautiful women:secrets every man should know".By John Eagan. You can find more books on "dating," how to pick up girls",etc on this site.

Good advice for online ads

The author, from what I can gather, is from Colorado and picked up on what's obvious to all the guys I know. The women are few and far between here. It was a relief to find out it's not just me, that the dating pool is a tough room. However, I've actually got a couple dates coming up next week because of a few changes I made to my Match profile after reading this book. Also followed the book's advice for responding to ads (talk about the things the women put in their ads among other things) and with the three responses I did with that approach, two of them wrote me back. So the book definitely works.Haven't tried the other stuff like picking up women in bookstores but I showed it to a couple women at work and they said it would work on them.

Female-vision goggles

There are a lot of things about women that don't make sense to guys. The whole shopping thing, and how they can talk to each other forever about nothing, and the chocolate insanity, and all the stupid cultural things they want to drag you to, and a bunch of other stuff. So what do we do? We think, how stupid, and then try to hit on women with stuff that makes sense to us. So...right, I get it, that wasn't the smartest approach. This book basically lays out the things women like and tells you how to use those angles to infiltrate and get the chicks. Not quite how they say it but that's the deal. The stuff seems weird at first since it's ridiculously simple, but then it just works. The Godiva chocolate sat on my desk for about an hour before the word got out and now I've got three or four women who come by every day to talk and get chocolate. No effort on my part. I even hauled myself out to some dance lessons, and I felt like a total idiot for the first few minutes but it got easier, plus as predicted there were some really good-looking women there and I've gone out a couple times with one of them. I still feel like kind of an idiot for not figuring out this stuff earlier but mostly I'm just pumped that it's working and it's really easy.

Easy simple stuff that works.

I haven't used dating books before (yeah, sure, he says) mostly because there always seemed to be enough women around. Except now there don't seem to be as many women around anymore, they're all married or have men lined up around the block, so I thought, well, what the heck. RTFM. And it seems to work pretty well. I haven't had the book long but here's how a couple things worked out for me. One of the things is just ask some woman her opinion. I thought OK, now or never, looked around for someone and found a nice-looking girl going through the books at the bestsellers table. I just asked her if she liked Cold Mountain since I was thinking of buying it for my sister for Christmas. She said yes, liked it, told me the plot, and it just went on from there. We talked about the book and the movie for a good fifteen minutes and I didn't ask her out since I was kind of unprepared and hadn't expected it to work that well. But it seemed like if I'd wanted to buy her coffee she would have said yes. The other thing I tried is to just go out to random things that women will be at and do the same kinds of things: ask them their opinion, ask them about themselves, etc. I went to a couple book readings and there wasn't anyone interesting at the first one but the second one had three really cute girls that came together and, bonus, there was just me and another guy there who came with his wife. So afterwards I asked one of the girls what she thought of the book (again with the books) and we kept talking for at least an hour, got into current events, movies, etc. When we were saying goodbye one of them asked me to come to the Lord of the Rings with them and their friends tonight. So we'll see how that works out. In one week, I've just gone up to four good-looking women I don't know and with minimal effort, had great conversations with all of them that probably could lead to something. I'm thinking that's good results. Make the women do the talking and they like you. Go figure. If you want a book on easy stuff for meeting women and having them like you, this is definitely it.
