The Bakers-Jim, Suzie, and daughter Betty-have decided to take a spring vacation in California's Sierra Nevada Mountains. From their home in Glendale, California, they drive to a beautiful cabin secluded in the forests surrounding Mammoth Lakes. But problems persist from the beginning. First, a massive late-spring snowstorm. Then they discover there's no electricity, heat, or gas to cook with. And finally, a mysterious light appears in their house.
