With indifferent parents, Iona Sheehan grew up craving devotion and acceptance. From her maternal grandmother, she learned where to find both: Ireland. County Mayo, to be exact. Where her ancestors' blood and magic have flowed through generations -- and where her destiny awaits. Arriving with nothing but her Nan's directions, an unfailing optimism, and an innate talent with horses, Iona finds her cousins, Branna and Connor O'Dwyer.
Such a great book. Couldn't put it down. Can't wait to read the next one.

Major nostalgia for Ireland

I loved this book, the cover drew me in,but the story about Ireland and its people kept me intrigued. The romance was wonderful, I can just picture Boyle, rugged, Irish, and beautiful. The witchy-Ness gave the story depth..excited to read the rest in yhe series
Slow build but intriguing

Like the first of every series it took a bit to build up. The first two chapters had me wondering if I was reading a Nora Roberts book but of course, I was sucked in then I couldn’t put this book down. A rare read for me but I read through the entire series within 2 weeks because I couldn’t get enough!

This was an amazing read, and really kept me interested! I could not put it down. I enjoy romance novels, but frankly was getting bored of the same old story lines. This was different! I am excited to start the next book in the series!

Excelent book! It didnt take long for me to get hooked and it was hard for me to put down. Starting the next in the series now. If you've read and liked a discovery of witches by deborah harkness I think you will like this book.
