Impressive plot and character development

To start, this book contains such rich syntax that I could find myself reading this book several times while still getting something out of it. I love the storyline, no predictable endings or developments. Overall, the story is brilliantly depicted with gorgeous imagery and figurative language. I will definitely read it again. Can't wait for more stories by this author.

Read it Out loud! High Adventure, NOT predictable, love, fantasy meets reality, beautifully written

It’s especially great to find exciting reads for boys, but also give them beauty and great writing to soak in. This novel is one I always recommend for parents trying to find good reads for their pre-teens and teens. However, I think every age/gender will enjoy Dark Planet either as a read aloud or self read. Great themes, many layers. A safe read for children but an exciting read for all.
