Daria Humble is a beautiful internet star with a very controversial platform. She posts about seducing men away from other women. She has one rule; all the men Daria targets must be in a committed relationship. It is part of the game. For every man she lures away, she tattoos a pearl on her ankle before dumping them. She has many followers, including some that are playing the same game and posting about it on her blog.

When Daria is savagely murdered, police are left with an infinite pool of suspects. They turn to her platform to watch her videos for clues. Detective Billy Cash tracks down all of Daria's pearls, one by one, looking for the man who killed her. In the process, he falls in love with Daria, as she lives on through all her posts.
