Darcy's Flight from Rosings: A Pride and Prejudice Variation

After being harshly rejected by Elizabeth, Darcy Flees Rosings with a broken heart but attempts to right his wrongs in London. But before he can do this, he must first visit, and flirt with, Caroline Bingley in order to get the Gardiners' address and confess his sins to Jane Bennet. Colonel Fitzwilliam stays at Rosings and falls in love with Anne de Bourgh who finally stands up to her mother and states she will not marry Darcy. Elizabeth stays in Kent, befriends Anne, and slowly becomes convinced that there was more to Darcy than she thought at first. In fact, the more she hears about Darcy from his two cousins, the more she starts to regret her decision not to marry him. But can she convince him of her changed opinion?

This Pride and Prejudice variation is full of both humor and angst and will take the reader through a range of emotions as the characters navigate their way through one misunderstanding after another.
