Daphne's Beautiful Wings

It is with true and utmost honor that I've written this book which is inspired by my grandaughter Z. Z was born with a seizure disorder that causes her disability. She is my hero and inspiration. I can not and will not imagine life without her in it. From day one she has been a source of happiness to her family and all who meet her. Z has a smile that lights up a galaxy of stars. She has endured so much in her little life, including brain surgery, and still continues to strive and beat all odds that astound me. Z is not afraid to spread her "wings" and fly! I want folks to understand that children and adults with disabilities want to be treated with kindness and respect. Parents, please teach your children to be kind to everyone and not to be afraid to say hello and include children with disabilities in their circle. If we instill kindness, generosity, and love at a very young age it will not depart. Please enjoy this book and take time to explain how little Daphne the dragonfly is such a fighter and keeps spreading those beautiful wings every day. Helping your child and even adults understand the importance of kindness, generosity, and love toward everyone despite their differences is one of the most important things in life.
