This second edition of Awakening to the True Reality by Zhang Boduan (《悟真篇》) presents the first complete English translation of one of Daoism's most essential works on internal alchemy (內丹, n idān). Traditionally attributed to the Song dynasty adept Zhang Boduan (張伯端), the Wu Zhen Pian has guided generations of Daoist practitioners on the subtle process of refining Essence, cultivating Qi, and returning to the Original Spirit.
