The bonus movie The Promise is best!

I read this book, saw the movie on tv years ago and NEVER forgot it! It touches my heart, maybe because I took vows that I truly meant and still do some 45 years ago. A promise to the one you truly love should be for your lifetime. So glad that this movie still brings tears to my eyes! Great find!
