Todd and Brenna Cooper have spent the last six months in happily married bliss. When Todd is called back to his carrier group for deployment as a Navy fighter pilot, Brenna is left alone in a new town. Without support from her friends and family, she has to deal with an unexpected pregnancy, all while fearing for her husband's safety. She must cling to God without Todd by her side.

Todd comes face to face with his somewhat uncomfortable past when a new pilot joins his squad. He must now wrestle with this temptation, and missing his wife doesn't make that any easier. All of it, along with the guilt of not being there for Brenna, drives him to his knees to find that God has not left him alone.
