First of all I love LynDee's Nichelle books. They are mostly 5 star reads- This one sucked. It also took 5 months to finish reading. I don't know if it was because it was co-authored or because the book went way out into left field with the woke agenda to accept everything queer even though the queer group was killing people who wronged them. Give me a break & quit shoving political agendas and twisting biblical scripture to fit your agenda.
Also, Nichelle seemed to barely give Joey time since they are now living together and she spends way too much time with ex boyfriend Kyle (her knight in shining armor) since he's ATF. She gets herself into life threatening predicaments in her fancy shoes and thinks nothing of it while her friends worry. I hope the next book is written just by LynDee or I won't be reading it.
