Danger Or Wounded In The House Of A Friend

By T.S. Arthur

Book Overview

""Danger Or Wounded In The House Of A Friend"" is a novel written by T. S. Arthur. The story revolves around the lives of two close friends, Harry and Frank, who have been inseparable since childhood. Harry, who is wealthy and successful, invites Frank and his family to stay with him in his luxurious mansion. However, things take a dark turn when Harry's wife, who is jealous of Frank's wife, starts to plot against them. As the story unfolds, Frank and his family find themselves in danger as they discover the true nature of their friend's household. The novel explores themes of jealousy, betrayal, and the consequences of greed. It is a suspenseful and gripping tale that keeps the reader engaged until the very end.Looking closely into the man's strong intellectual face, you would have seen something that marred the harmony of its fine features and dimmed its clear expression--something to stir a doubt or awaken a feeling of concern. The eyes, that were deep and intense, had a shadow in them, and the curves of the mouth had suffering and passion and evidences of stern mental conflict in every line. This was no common man, no social drone, but one who in his contact with men was used to making himself felt. This scarce antiquarian book is a facsimile reprint of the old original and may contain some imperfections such as library marks and notations.
