Dancing With Wolves

Did you hear about the young man that got caught up with "Dancing with Wolves?" He was young, gifted and innocent, but vulnerable. He was rejected by his own peers, father, and ministry leaders. So, he was looking to connect with people that would be there for him and potentially fill the voids. When you are vulnerable, you are opened to anyone that is going to show you love and attention. So, this young man went through a season at the church he grew up in, and he noticed that he didn't fit it. The church was more of a traditional, religious church but he had personal experiences with the Holy Spirit that contradicted the belief systems of the pastor and the church body. He still was faithful to the church and even became a minister on staff. As he matured in God, the gifts of the Holy Spirit would manifest through him in a major, impactful way. Some were open to it and others weren't. He could tell the ones that weren't. The young man kept pressing, but the rejection from the people began to weigh on him. He believed they loved him, but they just couldn't relate to his spiritual experiences. He began to pray that God would allow him to leave the church and go to where he felt was a better type of church that believed in the gifts and power of God. The young man was invited to preach a revival at a Pentecostal church. He had never preached at this type of church, so he was excited about the opportunity. He went and preached and had a great time being able to flow freely under the anointing of the Holy Spirit. After the revival, he felt the need to go back and visit that church. So, he went back a few times and enjoyed the word, worship, and the fellowship. A little while later, he joined the ministry and became a minister on staff. Months and months went by and the young man felt like he was in heaven. He was so excited about the opportunity to be in the church that he missed some obvious things that were right in front of his eyes. He never even took a second thought that this ministry seemed a little too perfect. As time progressed, he noticed there were a lot of people in that church that were going through divorces. Families were falling apart. He then noticed that the organ player/minister of music was very flamboyant and had mannerisms of a woman. Then, he experienced for himself the worst thing. The minister of music made a pass at him right in the church. How could it be that a powerful church like this was allowing a homosexual to lead the people into worship? It gets worse. He, as well as other members of the church, went to the senior leadership about the need for the minister of music to step down until he went through deliverance, but that notion was ignored. Why? The obvious was heartbreaking, the minister of music was gifted and his gifting in the eyes of the leadership overrode his need for deliverance. This within itself was some dangerous stuff.
