Cat Crozier grew up in a quiet town on the Jersey shore in a close, traditional family. After one year of college, she was married for a short time. A "go big or stay at home" girl, she lived her life around her two passions: horses and skiing. Through the '70s, Cat bounced back and forth between training horses, skiing and working a "real" job in New York City to pay her bills. At 33, she moved to Colorado and eventually became a full time student at Colorado State University in the college's Equine Science program. She graduated with honors and relocated to Maryland to begin her equine management career. A series of unforeseen events led her to Virginia and her job with Washington Redskins owner Jack Kent Cooke.
