When I understood Leo Tolstoy's simple message of being present in the moment, my life dramatically changed. Then, as I progressed through the stages of grieving and simultaneously wrote this book, I recognized that I accelerated my healing process through focused journaling, writing the four letters to Babe, and the conversations I constructed with M. I didn't know it at the time, but the hand of God was guiding me.
I know Babe is proud of me because I didn't quit. I pressed on in the darkness until I saw that glimmer of a new dawn. Babe's Twitter words remain with me and reside deeply in my heart, "Love, Love, and Love some more."
