One wild and crazy journey

When I purchased the book I really had no expectations of what I was getting. I'll be really honest with you to start with, I bought the book to primarily support someone in the scene, though I was intrigued by the subject matter herself. If someone (Niki) had taken the time and effort to endure such a project, then I felt it a responsibility to support her efforts. As Ian Head from the London Tanners had said at the recent Florida Moonshine party "Please support the people who support you". What I got instead though was a book that I simply could not put down. At the Florida Moonshine party Niki had signed my book "For Richard, Mr. Windsor - Sir. Welcome to my darkness. Love, Niki" My plane ride had been delayed by a few hours for the journey home, I was bored senseless. My laptop was with me and I had a movie to watch for the journey back to New York. While waiting in the terminal I decided to pick up Niki's book and I figured I would read a couple of chapters before the plane was ready to board. That was a mistake to think that, let me tell you!! The first brief chapter covers some of the things that happen behind the scenes at a spanking shoot. Having been on a few of them myself I was able to nod and smile at this inside information. When we get to chapter two we were really at chapter one, as the title of this chapter is called "Strange Little Girl". This is where Niki begins with the biographical look at her life so far. The self professed `Morbid Fantasies' of a child/teenager. While everyone else played house, Niki tells us of a mind consumed with thoughts of a vast array of punishments. Every spanko has done it, and now you can sit and read about it. You will probably be like myself who has always had a fascination with spanking, you will sit there nodding your head as Niki tells us about the conflicts one suffers mentally growing up with these desires. Of course, Niki's fantasies stretch FAR beyond just a simple spanking, lol. They are all about power and mind control and quite frankly, some of her desires are pretty shocking. We follow Niki's life of being hidden in the darkness right up to the awakening of Niki Flynn, the first actual mortifying spanking administered by her Sister's boyfriend, followed by her Sister actually spanking Niki herself!! By now I am on the plane and the movie can go stuff itself, this is far more engrossing. While it may be at a different level and with different circumstances, I get a feeling that I am reading my own story here. At the very least, every uncomfortable situation I ever went through growing up as a spanko is being written about compassionately, it provides almost like a comforting blanket of reassurance that you are not alone. For a guy who never reads a book I made pretty quick work of the first three chapters. But now we have arrived at chapter 4, my face grimaces a little bit, we have now shot forward to Niki's first foray into becoming an actress, and it is with the Czech company, L

Fascinating, compelling, seductive, and witty

Niki Flynn is one of the best known spanking models in the industry, and this firsthand memoir gives the reader a wonderful glimpse into the life of not only a very dynamic and intelligent individual but also the often misunderstood world of spanking films. From stern and strict school scenes to edgy political dramas, Niki has performed just about every role on the spectrum. She brings her own wit, sass, and undeniable appeal to every film she participates in. Being gifted with a 'behind the scenes' view only makes those films all the more appealing. Sharing everything from her early childhood experiences, personal dreams and hopes, and even fan letters she's received, Niki lays it all out for the reader. For those who are already fans, this memoir will only further endear her to them. And for those who have not yet experienced the joy of seeing Niki on film, I fully expect that they would be eager to sample some of Niki's work once they've completed this book. This is open, honest, and frank. It's also incredibly funny and Niki's own unique and sharp sense of humour shows throughout. She has such an amazing way with words, you can't help but feel like you're there on the set with her or in her head, experiencing all the highs and lows of the power dynamic she is so drawn to. If you're into spanking at all, this is one book you will NOT want to pass up.

What a life!

I believe "Dances With Werewolves" should be read by anyone who's kinky, anyone with a corporal punishment fetish, and anyone who simply likes a well-written and sexy memoir. There are many spanking and BDSM books out there, but this one goes deep. Niki Flynn details not only her submission to pain, but the genesis of her wanting to submit, and further into what happens when she seeks out darker and more intense roles. "It's not a matter of what I can take," she writes. "To live out my fantasies I have no choice BUT to take it. . . . I can't enjoy it unless I don't enjoy it." What a life -- getting to play out these scenarios in safe environments (some might debate the word "safe"), and getting them preserved on film. Yes, a dream life, but reading "Dances With Werewolves" lets us understand how much work actually was involved with these movies. Niki, an American, learns Czech and German for some of her roles. As for the play itself -- she is doused with cold water; "raped," subjected to face slapping, foot caning, back whipping, and other extreme punishments; and, in one scene, has her hair cut off with dull scissors by her tormentors. It's much, much more than taking a spanking for the cameras. But that's why it's so exciting. Buy a copy for yourself and for your favorite tops. You might want to suggest to them, "Don't try this at home."

A Must-Read for Every Spanko!

As a reader you literally share Niki's journey and experiences as Niki has an unprecendented talent for engaging her reader. And it is fascinating. Dances with Werewolves is fascinating, funny, hugely entertaining and poignant, but most importantly it is refreshingly HONEST.

Something Wicked This Way Comes -- Oh Boy!

Niki Flynn, a very strange little girl, becomes a very wild big girl in this telling of the life of a model. From the first words this book rings like the true silver, the only thing you can make your talisman out of, the only thing that can save you from your secrets. This is erotica, horror, humor, and a terrific read. Niki is talented. She is a great writer. She is a beautiful, if tortured, and enjoying it, soul. She dances in places the rest of us won't even crawl. She is naughty, you are going to want to take her across your lap and smack her bottom. But she has the soul of an angel, and the poise of a queen. Give yourself time to finish, because you are not going to be willing to interrupt your read once you start. And unless you are daring as Niki, you really aren't going to want to explain yourself to the school-marm reading over your shoulder on the tram.
