I love, love, love this journal and all of the intricate inlays Paperblanks Journals. I realized a few years ago that journaling is really good for my overall well being. I also realized that I was far more likely to journal when I really liked the physical journal in which I was writing. I looked back over journals I'd filled with writing and I noticed that the only journals I had finished were Paperblanks brand. So at the beginning of 2008 I went on a serious research trip to find a new Paperblanks journal that I liked. I found the Intricate Inlays style and I loved it. The size is so handy. It easily fits inside a handbag so you can take it with you. The paper is lovely quality and I prefer lined paper for writing. I have recently started water coloring and I find that it's a truly enjoyable way to enhance my journaling, especially when I use the journal and the watercolor to record experiences from travels. The lined writing is a light gray and it disappears whenever I do a watercolor so it's really the best of both worlds. I like the elastic band that surrounds the front cover. Every time I use this journal people compliment it - both men and women. I only wish that I could still find these for sale. They are few and far between.
Great little journals...

I just purchased this product, having purchased a very similar one ("Intricate Inlays") design in the past. The product is nice-- good quality, nice paper. The paper is not too thick, but it feels "nice." The designs are pretty, with the raised edges/patterns adding visual and textural interest. They're pretty small little journals, but they hold up well and look rather nice.
