Dalf-Lo was supposed to be a made-up cereal mascot created in 1977 by the Energizing Vitality Ingredients for Life Corporation to cash in on the 'sweet yet nutritious' children's breakfast cereal craze at the time. The Sweet Vitamin Puffs of Fun cereal, and its mascot Dalf-Lo, became an instant success! Since its launch, the cereal was considered the most delicious breakfast cereal on the market! Kids would battle each other just to get that last box in the grocery store. From the very beginning of Sweet Vitamin Puffs of Fun's success, reports of children going missing began to circulate. In these missing children's cases, a box of Sweet Vitamin Puffs of Fun was always at the scene of the disappearance. In some cases, observers stated the mascot on the box was absent. In other cases, the parents were declared missing, or found dead while covered in cereal. In many occurrences, authorities assumed the child killed the parents in a freak accident or a cereal-loving serial killer was on the loose. No one with authority believed the cereal's cartoon mascot was alive and behind these tragic events. Who would believe such an absurd thing?! Dalf-Lo: A Cereal Worth Killing For! is the next evolution of horror monsters. A new idea and direction in the genre! We already have legendary iconic horror monsters who hunt their victims at camp grounds, within their dreams, at that 'wrong turn' or house, in the sewers and in outer space -- but Dalf-Lo is the first to take the purity of kids breakfast cereals and corrupt the hell out of them! A REAL CEREAL KILLER!! A living cartoon character with a god complex and a brilliant intellect who uses ravenous children to do heinous actions against their adult parents. The new face of well-balanced wholesome evil! 'Dalf-Lo: A Cereal Worth Killing For!' was created with the support of backers on the crowdfunding website Kickstarter in October 2021. This B&W 'Noir' limited edition is the first installment in an ongoing series. A full color edition is production and will be released in February. This 'Noir' edition will be retired and will cease publication upon release of the full color edition.
