Daisy was a very intelligent greyhound who was rescued in 2004 and was the author's heart dog. This book is a work of fiction about Daisy's life but includes many real-life events that happened to her and her fellow greyhounds in the household. It is all told from Daisy's "point of view", in a language many greyhound owners refer to as "greylish". Intentional bad spelling aside, Daisy will melt the heart of any pet owner with her escapades.

This special edition of Daisy's Amazing Diary has 25 photos, and most of them are in full color. Daisy was a very special fifteen-year-old greyhound who had a bright and demanding, but very sweet personality. In the process of publishing, we lost one of our other special hounds, Harvey, to osteosarcoma. He is featured in the book.
