Writing on every single page

Book was written in throughout. All of the pages had answers on each page, making the book fairly useless.

great book but.....

I love the book and this is a bargain price. However, I ordered a 'good' copy and it cam with 28 pages already used. I would expect this for an 'acceptable' copy, but not a good one. Buyer beware!

Awesome!!!!!!!!!

I bought this book to use as a warm up with my tutoring students. They LOVE it and so do I!!!!! They look forward to it every time, and even though it is the same type of activity every time, they still love it. There are some words on the ladder that are very easy, however some are challenging and they have to use a dictionary or really think about what the answer might be. This is a GREAT book.

Great tool

I use this in my classroom with 4th grade students. All my students enjoy the challenge of figuring out the words. The students are proud when they solve each ring on the ladder. Works well as a five minute activity in the morning or at the end of the day!

Great Time Filler

I use these activities in my fourth grade classroom as a way to fill in time. Some of these puzzles are difficult, but my higher achieving students find them adequately challenging. I plan to purchase the other Word Ladder book (1-3) for the other students with the hope that they will be able to move up to these after a while. They are a great vocabulary enricher and students enjoy working them.

Great strategy for teaching vocabulary and word association. My students love it. They say things like, "This is Fun"! I agree.
