Introduction

The Psalms are a collection of hymns, instructions, teaching, and prayers, providing us with Godly wisdom and knowledge essential for living the Christian life. Conscious of God, we prayerfully receive the many aspects of scripture, their knowledge and guidance acting as a catalyst for our prayers, dialogue with the Lord, and learning experience.

We know our heavenly Father always hears us, therefore, we long to be with him, listening carefully to perceive those senses he gives us during normal daily life and our regular devotional bible reading and prayer. It is because of the Holy Spirits presence in us, that we can be in communication with him at all times. Our Father God longs to hear from us, quickly replying with his love and wisdom, inspiring our thoughts and prayers.

There are over 28 thousand words in this book; through the Psalms and many wonderful accompanying scriptures, my hope and prayer is that it will encourage the reader to be ever-ready to commune with the Lord in loving, prayerful fellowship, learning more and more about him and the eternal life he has given us. We know that Jesus is always available, welcoming us into his presence at all times and anywhere. Living within us and knowing every thought we have, he wants to draw alongside us and provide his wisdom, knowledge and understanding in all we do, therefore, we listen expectantly, eagerly waiting for him to imbue our thinking.

Being aware of God's presence, conscious that he knows everything about us, it is our desire to receive his wisdom, and understand how to approach things as we seek to follow him. Preparing the way with prayer, he hears us and reaches out to help and prosper our lives. We draw close to the Lord during our daily devotions and bible reading, to receive what we need to go on our way, confident of being continually with our Father God and pleasing him.
