A Place of Honor in God's House for an Indonesian Missionary

Helen Jean Moose Zwyghuizen is now living in retirement at Missionary Acres in Silva, Missouri. We prayed that she could keep up the demands of her time and scheduling that were required to complete this book and now give thanks that it has been brought to reality. Miss Moose began her Christian life in the quiet back country of Minnesota and received the call to become a missionary to the Far East. As a humble servant of God, in the tough days of the 30's, she lived day by day, working like Paul the Apostle at odd jobs in company with her Bible education and training and through those small steps, eventually achieved her life's challenge in successful missionary work in China and later to Indonesia. What is generally not known is that her commitment to the poor in Indonesia was to have far reaching effects. Lead by the Spirit of God she spent what she had to ensure that poor children were clothed and fed and improved their lives to the point that she was officially commended by the Muslim government for her work! This book is the history of her life and work from the point of becoming a Christian. It is a fine example of what true charity based on real Christian service is all about and serves as a model for what should be followed. It is also further proof that God has a place for anyone who with fortitude and faith, are willing to allow the Lord to lead them in His service. She is a model of unselfish dedication to God with a sincere heart of Charity and because of her work, many now walk the earth, influenced by her true Christian heart, willing workers in the field of souls for the Lord. Would that we all could do as well!
