Dad’s Story: Memoirs from WW II

This is a true story.In 2004, my Dad, Glen Frank Morgan, wanted me to write about his life. I took on that challenge with fervor and enthusiasm.There were many times that he sent me handwritten content that, as I was compiling, thought to myself, WOW! I had no idea that he did that.But after a few months of typing, copying, sending him what was assembled so far, and his editing, he approved of the copy. Once it was completed, he had me make a few copies of This Is My Story so that he could send to close family members and his friends. It was never copyrighted. He just wanted to tell his story.While going through his papers, I found his Diary from 1944. So I decided to share some selected entries and content of his thoughts and feelings with you. Additionally, I have included some of the content from his Story that gives you an additional perspective.I hope that you find both his views and journal accounts from his service in World War II to be thought provoking and awe inspiring.
