Dads Army: On the swing shift

Things are becoming somewhat complacent in Walmington-on-sea. Though the war continues across Europe and still touches the life of everyone in good old blighty, the threat of a manned invasion, across the English channel, is becoming less and less. After their defeat by our gallant lads in blue, the Royal air force, the 3rd reich has now set its eyes on Russia which gave England a slight respite. Complacency is uppermost in Captain Mainwarings mind and he sets out to make sure his men are fighting fit and ready to face the enemy at any time. Despite his best efforts he finds the platoon concentrating more on their social lives and not on war like things, which he is determined to stop, until he comes up against the same problem himself. With Mrs Gray back in Walmington-on-sea, Private Godfrey, Private Fraser and Sergeant Wilson all being lured away from their duty, temptation poses an even bigger problem then the whole of the German army.
