It touched my heart

A friend from work really misses her papa even though it's been years since his passing. For Christmas I wanted to find something extra special that would reinforce her special bonds with him. I found that gift in Daddy's Little Girl. I picked random stories to read and each one made me cry and appreciate the bond between father and daughter. I can't wait to give this to my friend.

Exploring That Bond Between Fathers and Daughters

After the publication of Lang's //Why A Daughter Needs a Dad//, he received hundreds of letters and emails from fathers or daughters wanting to talk about their relationships. Lang noticed the letters had common threads linking many of the stories, and from those letters was born //Daddy's Little Girl//. Lang often brings events from his own relationship with his daughter into those stories, including occasional embarrassing ones (the story about mistaking an undergarment for a stuffed animal being a gem). It is a charming book, good for daughters and fathers (or both), and providing inspiration and memories.
