This book is about love, forgiveness and putting the past behind you. We all have the privilege to be able to choose our friends even though they may not always be the best choices, but we don't get to choose who our father is going to be. That privilege and honour is in God's hands. No father is perfect but God gives us each the father that fits perfectly in our lives. When a girl looks at her daddy, she sees her hero, her king, and the closest thing to God. The first man to love her and the gatekeeper to her heart. She sees him as the one man that would never hurt her or let her down, well, not on purpose anyway. That is what I thought until I was proven wrong but what I also learned is that forgiveness plays a big roll in what happens next. I wrote this book, not only to heal myself but to help others out there that went or is still going through the same thing.
