The loneliness and despair crushes her into a tiny ball. It forces
her to the small corners of any room she steps foot in, it gnaws
on her heart, consuming every good feeling she could have. She believes
that if she sits still and does not speak, then perhaps everyone
will forget about her. If they forget about her, then she can't like
them, and then nothing bad can ever happen to them. It's how she
keeps the pain out.
