I wanted every reader to be able to see my work as is and uncorrected to symbolize that not everything needs to be fixed and made perfect just like we as people don't always need to be fixed or perfected. sometimes a person or objects beauty is derived from that person or objects unique imperfections. also I wanted my readers to know that all of my poetry was written on a prison issued tablet and created in the confines of my prison issued cell. I am currently incarcerated for killing a life long friend in the midst of a violent altercation having to do with a dispute over heroin. I have been incarcerated since March 2009 and will be completely done with serving my time sometime in between 2020 and 2024. I am not ashamed of who I am nor am I ashamed of my past. I am a member of the Crip's an rep outlaw insane. I am a recovering drug addict. I am a convicted felon serving time for manslaughter, a gun charge, and selling drugs. I am also a man who loves the Lord. some say I have a conflicted conscience but I'll leave it up to you to decide what you think about me.
