This book made me laugh out loud. Easy read and so much fun. Thanks for the laughs and I can not wait for the next one.

Risque, funny and insightful

"Cut and Run, The Misadventures of Alex Perez" is an hilarious, bawdy romp through Central America. In it, Alex Perez, a shady and luckless Latino Lothario travels from Texas through Central America with two rich clueless gringas. Though naive, the women somehow make out a lot better than Alex. Perez, a crafty schmuck who gets into all sorts of trouble in Mexico, Belize, Guatemala and elesewhere, always seems to land on his feet, whether he's being robbed by a defrocked priest or being forced into pimphood by the warden of a local prison. The book offers a satirical look at the cultural differences and human foibles on both sides of the border.This book's for anyone who has a sense of humor.

Cut & Run - The Misadventures of Alex Perez is an easy, humorous read that remains funny throughout. Since I have known the author for 30+ years, let me say that I find it difficult to differentiate between him and the protagonist, although Alex is a bit more out there. Once I opened the novel I could not put it down. The numerous crack-pot characters made the story-line hilarious. The thing that stuck me was the fact that both, Alberto and Alex always seem to land on their feet. I recommend it highly.

I just finished the book CUT & RUN: THE MISADVENTURES OF ALEX PEREZ. Keep a dictionary nearby for some uncommon words, many in Spanish. The term "misadventure" stands out on its own. There are many in this book - those times when nothing goes according to plan and the main character must gather his thoughts, improvise, and move forward with something new. The main character, Alex Perez, always lands on his feet! This book holds your attention. You won't want to put it down once you start reading. The author has an amazing gift for describing misconduct, adventure, and sexual exploits without ever being explicit, leaving situations for the reader to imagine. This book is a a teaser with an ending that suggests a sequel. I look forward to the next misadventure of Alex Perez.
